FridgeZero.LA – Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between Subzero LA LLC, a California limited liability company, doing business as FridgeZero.LA (“FridgeZero,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”), and you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). These Terms govern all service calls, diagnostics, estimates, repairs, communications, payments, website use, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By requesting service, approving work, submitting payment, signing a work order, or communicating with us in any form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.
- Estimates, Deposits & Payments (California-Compliant)
All estimates are good-faith approximations and are not guarantees.
Any deposit, advance, or prepayment made to FridgeZero.LA is non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, diagnostic fees, scheduling fees, parts sourcing, administrative costs, and labor allocation. Deposits are earned upon receipt and are not contingent on repair completion.
- Service-Call & Diagnostic Disclaimers
By requesting service, you acknowledge that diagnostics are inherently limited and may not reveal all defects. Appliances may contain pre-existing, hidden, intermittent, or cascading failures, and additional issues may arise before, during, or after service.
FridgeZero.LA is not responsible for undiscovered defects, failures unrelated to the approved repair, or damage caused by age, corrosion, power irregularities, misuse, prior repairs, or third-party work.
- Finality of Repairs & No Warranty
All repairs are final once approved and performed.
FridgeZero.LA provides no warranty, express or implied, on parts, labor, diagnostics, or outcomes unless a warranty is explicitly stated in writing on the signed work order or invoice. This includes, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Verbal statements do not create warranties.
- California Home Improvement Compliance Notice
Pursuant to California Business and Professions Code section 7159 and related statutes, customers are entitled to a written work order. Cancellation rights apply only as required by law. Diagnostic, emergency, and same-day services may be exempt from cancellation rights. Deposits may be retained once services begin, as permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived under California law.
- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FridgeZero.LA shall not be liable for loss of food, medication, inventory, or contents; loss of business, profits, or data; or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- UDRP, Domain Name & Litigation Defense
You acknowledge that FridgeZero.LA operates under a distinct business identity and provides services in good-faith commercial competition. Any similarity to other service providers’ names is incidental or descriptive, and no consumer confusion is intended or encouraged. Descriptive references to appliance brands constitute lawful nominative fair use. You agree not to assert claims based solely on domain usage, descriptive references, or lawful competitive activity.
- SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages from FridgeZero.LA related to appointment confirmations, technician arrival notices, estimates, invoices, and service updates. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP. Mobile numbers are not sold or shared for marketing purposes.
- Governing Law & Arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, on an individual basis only. Class actions are expressly waived.
- Independent Service Provider & Manufacturer Non-Affiliation
FridgeZero.LA is an independent appliance service provider. References to appliance brands are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes. FridgeZero.LA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any appliance manufacturer unless explicitly stated in writing. Manufacturer warranties, recalls, or programs remain the sole responsibility of the manufacturer.
